Good to know

Billett is masculine with double l and double t: billett, billetten, billetter. On buses and trams you must have a valid ticket before boarding, usually bought in an app such as Ruter or Entur; inspectors give a large fine (bot) without one. A monthly pass is periodebillett or månedskort.
